About Maddie Fox (she/her)
Photography as always been my true north. Documenting and telling stories is my passion. I graduated from the University of Michigan earning a BFA in Art and Design with a minor in Environment. I fell in love with photojournalism at the student-run Michigan Daily where I documented the campus environment during the especially tumultuous time of 2020 and beyond. I often do freelance work documenting families.
I’m a photographer and designer at the University of Michigan School for Environment and Sustainability. I employs visual communication to bridge the gap between academic research and impact. I collaborate with researchers, students, and alumni to break down the jargon and data of the science world in order to uncover extraordinary stories of research that is creating a better world for future generations.
When I’m not editing photos, I can be found spending time in the U.P., renovating her 140+ year-old house, or tending to my garden.
